During the weekend in the Ardennes I found on a nearby tree common lichen, Yellow Scales (Xanthoria parietina).
Xanthoria parietina is a foliose, or leafy, lichen. It has wide distribution, and many common names such as common orange lichen, yellow scale, maritime sunburst lichen and shore lichen.

A detail from my previous post.

During our weekend in Durbuy we collected some more seed pods and other stuff.
Little A. found this one and she found it important I would mention this in my post as she found the final image I made of it awesome.
Thank you, Little A. 🙂
I made another study of some seeds. Once again a very simple setup with one studio light and some crumbled aluminium foil as reflector.
I used a Sigma 180mm macro lens mounted on my Olympus E-PM1.
